Usage

This template is used to represent a given power in a statblock for a player character in Living Eberron. The template should be used per power as part of the Powers section of the statblock and filled out accordingly. To use this template, copy the text below into your character sheet under the Powers section and fill out the appropriate values; make new copies for additional powers. Fields with brackets ([]) are optional and can be left out or the line left blank. Details about these fields are detailed below:

{{LEB:CS:PCStatBlockPower
|Power Name=Power's Name
|Power Icon=[Indicate icons associated with power (see below). No icons for personal powers.]
|Action=Power's action (Free, Minor, Move, Standard, Immediate Reaction, Immediate Interrupt)
|Trigger=[If a power is an immediate action or has some other trigger, this is the trigger]
|Requirement=[Any requirements for the power (e.g., only once per round)]
|Recharge=Power's recharge. Must be one of at-will, encounter, or daily.
|Keywords=[Any keywords for the power]
|Power Description=Description of the power (i.e., range, targets, to-hit, effects, etc.). Write down the calculated effects, not the raw power text (e.g., no 1[W] text)
|Power Corollaries=[Additional power effects based upon secondary attacks, summoning, etc. Use the Power Corollary template]}}

For Power Icon, the icons that can be used are:

  • Basic Melee {{basicMeleeIcon}} BasicMelee
  • Melee {{meleeIcon}} Melee
  • Basic Ranged {{basicRangedIcon}} BasicRanged
  • Ranged {{rangedIcon}} Ranged
  • Close {{closeIcon}} Close
  • Area {{areaIcon}} Area

We prefer you write your character sheet powers in third person ("Forge shifts one square") instead of second person ("You shift one square").

Examples

Here is the Warden's Grasp power; note it has a trigger and a specific target. In this example, the character's name is Stellan:

{{LEB:CS:PCStatBlockPower
|Power Name=Warden's Grasp
|Power Icon={{closeIcon}}
|Action=Immediate reaction
|Trigger=when an enemy marked by Stellan makes an attack that does not include Stellan as a target
|Recharge=at-will
|Power Description=Close burst 5; the triggering enemy. ''Effect:'' Stellan slides the target one square and the target is slowed and cannot shift until the end of its turn.}}

Here is what the power entry would look:

CloseWarden's Grasp (Immediate reaction when when an enemy marked by Stellan makes an attack that does not include Stellan as a target; at-will)
Close burst 5; the triggering enemy. Effect: Stellan slides the target one square and the target is slowed and cannot shift until the end of its turn.

Now consider Harbinger, an Avenger with the Angelic Alacrity power which allows him to shift before the attack. It also has keywords. This is how it would be written in his character sheet:

{{LEB:CS:PCStatBlockPower
|Power Name=Angelic Alacrity
|Power Icon={{meleeIcon}}
|Action=Standard
|Recharge=encounter
|Keywords=Divine, Weapon
|Power Description=''Effect:'' Before the attack, Harbinger shifts two squares. +7 vs AC; 2d10+4 damage.}}

And this is how it would be depicted:

MeleeAngelic Alacrity (Standard; encounter) ✦ Divine, Weapon
Effect: Before the attack, Harbinger shifts two squares. +7 vs AC; 2d10+4 damage.

Finally, we examine Vessel, an Invoker with a summoning daily power. The power describes the actions the summoned creature can make; we describe those via the Power Corollaries parameter and several Power Corollary entries:

{{LEB:CS:PCStatBlockPower
|Power Name=Summon Angel of Fire
|Power Icon={{rangedIcon}}
|Action=Minor
|Recharge=daily
|Keywords=Divine, Fire, Implement, Summoning
|Power Description=''Effect:'' Vessel summons a Medium angel of fire in an unoccupied space in range. The angel has speed 6 and fly 6 (hover). Vessel can give it the following special commands.
|Power Corollaries={{LEB:CS:PCStatBlockPowerCorollary
|Header=Standard Action
|Description=Close burst 1; targets each creature in burst; +4 vs. Reflex; 1d8+4 fire damage.}}{{LEB:CS:PCStatBlockPowerCorollary
|Header=Opportunity Attack
|Description=Melee 1; targets one creature; +4 vs Reflex; 1d8+4 fire damage.}} }}

And this is how it would be depicted:

RangedAngel of FIre (Minor; daily) ✦ Divine, Fire, Implement, Summoning
Effect: Vessel summons a Medium angel of fire in an unoccupied space in range. The angel has speed 6 and fly 6 (hover). Vessel can give it the following special commands.
Standard Action
Close burst 1; targets each creature in burst; +4 vs. Reflex; 1d8+4 fire damage.
Opportunity Attack
Melee 1; targets one creature; +4 vs Reflex; 1d8+4 fire damage.

Note that there should be no spaces between subsequence Power Corollary entries or Power entries; this will add unwanted spacing.
